Top 5 Run Goes Sour for
Travis in Turkey Derby XXXVI
(November 27, 2009) Travis Fisher timed fifth quickest for the
50-lap Late Model feature Friday at Wall Stadium on the Jersey
Shore. However, while battling in the top five things got intense.
Fisher had a tire cut down by a competitor and his run went
downhill from there. Travis did manage to pit and returned to the
speedway to finish 11th in Turkey Derby XXXVI.

Travis' Battles for
the Lead and Ends up Sixth in
NELMA Late Model Challenge
(October 25, 2009) Late Model drivers raced the clock during time
trials prior to the start of the 100-lap main event and Kevin
Metzger peeled off the quickest lap. A redraw followed and the
invert put Jerry Hildebrand on the pole position for the show.
Hildebrand set the early pace over Jarrod Hayes, Larry Fisher, Mike
Coll and Kevin Metzger. The first of several yellows waved when
Metzger spun in turns three and four.

Larry Fisher Scores Top 10 Mod Finish in Stellar Field at Sundance
(October 11, 2009)
Eric Beers set the quickest time of the afternoon during time
trials and the fastest fifteen Modified time trailers were
locked in for the 150-lap main event. Matt Hirschman drew the
pole position when the top ten fastest drivers redrew for
starting positions.
Hirschman led the opening lap at the drop of the green over Zane
Zeiner, John Fortin, Justin Gumley and Larry Fisher.

Travis Fisher Wins "King of the Mountain" at Sundance
(October 10, 2009)
Joe Hoffman started from the pole and led the opening laps of
the 50-lap Late Model feature over Zane Zeiner, Kevin Metzger,
Travis Fisher and Jimmy Wismer. Zeiner started second and raced
side-by-side with Hoffman before he overtook the leader on lap
four.

Travis Wins KoTM Qualifier at Shagra-La II

The first day of the Labor Day on Fire Weekend at Shangri-La II
Motor Speedway is in record books. Travis Fisher will represent
Shangri-La II Motor Speedway at the 10th Annual King of the Mountain
at Sundance Vacations Speedway after capturing the ASA Late Models
feature event. Other Winners included Chris Daugherty (Street
Stocks), Shane Riffel (Cup Lites) and Tyler Yeagle (DIRT Street
Stocks).

Travis Finishes Third at Shangri-La II By Brock Moore (August 1, 2009) The caution filled 30-lap feature for the ASA Late Models had Scott Nurmi and Jim Lamoreaux on the front row. When the field went green, Nurmi jumped out into the lead and Lamoreaux fell into 2nd. Ben Reynolds and Travis Fisher passed Lamoreaux for 2nd and 3rd on lap 2. Reynolds made his pass for the lead on the frontstraight on lap 4. T. Fisher and Nurmi got together on lap 4 in turn 2 and Nurmi spun bringing out the caution. Read more on News page.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania picked up his first win the season in the
Mighty Modified division on Sunday, July 12th at Shangri-La II Motor
Speedway. Joining him in the winner circle were Ben Reynolds (ASA
Late Models), Jimmy Zacharias (Sportsman Modifieds) and Chad
McDonald (Street Stocks).

Fisher Visits Shangra-La II in New York
(July 4th weekend, 2009) Travis Fisher made the trip to Shangra-La
II for opening weekend at the New York facility. It was the first
weekend for the 1/2-mile concrete facility and the young driver held
his own as he competed on a concrete track for the first time.

Fisher Ends up 10th in First Visit to the Jersey Shore
Travis
Fisher
and speedster Kevin Metzger jumped to the
lead at the outset of the Late Model 100-lapper and held his ground
through the first half of the contest as Wismer spent most of this
time patiently running second. Metzger continued to lead after a
restart at the half way mark, while Wismer suffered a bad restart
and slipped from contention.

Larry Fisher Earns Top 5 Finish- Mechanical Problems
Sidelined Travis

Will Schneider brought the Late Model field to the drop of the green
in the 30-lap feature but the yellow waved before a lap was complete
when Jennifer Kutz spun in turns one and two.
Paul Monkoski grabbed the race lead on the restart and Jerry
Hildebrand moved into second. Larry Fisher ran third with Joe
Hoffman close behind in fourth.

Father and Son Battle for Late Model

(May 23, 2009) Jennifer Kutz started from the pole position and was
overtaken by Justin Onderko for the race lead early on in the 30-lap
Late Model feature. The first of two cautions waved with three laps
complete when Mitch Hawk made contact with Kutz in turns one and two.

(May 9, 2009) The top
six modifieds qualifiers redrew for starting positions, which put
Billy Weichert on the pole for the 100-lap Modified main event,

Travis Fisher Grabs Sundance Opening Date Win on April 26 Austin Kochenash led the Late Model field to the green flag in the
30-lap feature. After starting on the outside of the front row,
Travis Fisher took the race lead and Mike Sweeney followed passed
Kochenash for second. Kochenash dropped to third with Mike Coll and
Ed Bauer in the top five.

Larry Fisher Hopes to Improve Opening Day Modified Finish (April 26, 2009) Kyle Ebersole and seventeen other Modified division competitors took to the speedway with hopes of running a quick 40-lap main event.
