Travis Fisher Finishes Second in NELMA Late Model Challenge
(10/22/2011)- In what has become known as a fall classic at Mountain Speedway, the 7th annual NELMA Late Model Challenge kicked off on Saturday. With $1500 on the line for the Late Model victor, the show was a season ending success and many “outsiders” from the speedway drove off to victory. Once the smoke cleared, it was Dave Brigati who took the exciting win in the Late Model main event .
 Glenn Tyler turned the quickest lap in Late Model time trials and started from the pole in the 75-lap main event. He led the opening circuit over Craig Lutz and Joe Burns. Read More 
 
Travis Fisher Pulls Double Duty Over King of the Mountain Weekend
(10/8/2011)- With double points and divisional championships on the line, plenty of racers and fans alike came out to Mountain Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the first day of the 12th annual “King of the Mountain” (KoTM) event. In a perfect ending to what he would call a disappointing season so far, Todd Baer of New Tripoli, PA held off Rusty Smith to score the $2,000 prize for his first Sport Modified win of the season. With the Late Model championship on the line, Craig Lutz of Miller Place, NY not only took the victory, but also his first career championship in the division. Paul Morgan, Jr. of Mountaintop, PA took his first Factory Stock victory of the season and Matt Janisch not only took the TQ Midget feature win, but he also clinched the championship at the speedway.
  With the Late Model championship on the line, Craig Lutz of Miller Place, NY not only took the victory, but also his first career championship in the division

Travis Fisher Takes “Fall Brawl” at Shangri-la II
(9/24/2011)- Day 1 of the 3rd Annual Fall Brawl at Shangri-la II Motor Speedway consisted of 162 feature laps, 2 caution-free races, and just 6 cautions in the other 2 features. Mother Nature even behaved, giving the fans perfect weather for the September special. Feature winners included Wilbur Hebing (Modifieds), Travis Fisher (Late Models), Andre Roggie (4 Cylinders, FWD), Scott Shafer (4 Cylinders, RWD), and Mike Alcaro (Legends). Read More 
 
Travis Fisher Scores First Mountain Late Model Victory of the Season
(9/18/2011)- Francis Gross III Started from the pole and led the opening circuit of the 30-lap Late Model feature over Travis Fisher, Joe Burns, Craig Lutz and Glen Slocum.
Fisher ducked to the inside and took the race lead in the early going. Meanwhile, Dave Macomber moved into the fifth spot.
 With Fisher still in command, Lutz got by Burns and Gross to take second on lap nine and eight laps later Austin Kochenash took third from gross.
 With a nice margin back to second, Fisher took the checkers for his first win of the season at the speedway. Lutz settled for second, followed by Kochenash, Gross and Kevin Metzger. Read More 
 
 
Travis Fisher Scores Two Top Five Finishes Labor Day Weekend at Mountain Speedway
(9/4/2011)- A Labor Day Double Header weekend hit the stage at Mountain Speedway. Brian Sones started from the pole and held the early lead in the 30-lap Late Model feature over Kyle Harvell and Travis Fisher. However, the yellow flag waved when Fisher tried to get underneath Harvell for second in turns three and four. The end result was a spin by Fisher and he was forced to restart from the tail of the field.
  Green flag racing resumed and Craig Lutz worked under Harvell for second. With six laps complete, Sones continued to lead over Lutz, Harvell, Francis Gross III and Fisher. Read More 
 
Fisher Earns Top 5 Finish in RoC Event at Oswego
By Steven Petty (July 24, 2011)- OSWEGO, NY… Day three of the 61st edition of the Race of Champions Weekend came to a conclusion on Sunday afternoon at the Oswego Speedway after the completion of the Sportsman, Late Models and the Factory Stocks. Bobby Holmes won his first career event at the Race of Champions Weekend after winning the RoC Sportsman 100 while Zane Zeiner was victorious in the Late Model 100 and Tom Casagrande won in the Factory Stock event.
  Nurmi and Brown would pull away from the field of Late Models as Zeiner would pass Kochenas for third on lap 17 and Scott Wylie would try and do the same thing but was unsuccessful as the field crossed the stripe and completed lap 20. Travis Fisher and Bobby Weber were right there behind the battle for fourth as the leaders were pulling away from the field.

Travis Wins Heat Race and Earns Solid Top 5 Finish at Mountain Speedway
(July 9, 2011)- On the same Saturday night of celebration for 50 years of marital bliss between Mountain Speedway Promoter, Joe Callavini and his wife Dorothy, Dave Brigati of Long Island, NY and his crew celebrated in victory lane after winning the Sport Modified victory at the speedway. Also from Long Island, NY, Kyle Harvell took the lead on the opening lap of the Late Model feature and held off rival Craig Lutz to score his first career win in the division and Matt Schlenker of Walnutport came out the victor in the Factory Stock division following a three-wide pass on the final lap.
  Jerry Tunney led his fellow Late Model drivers to the drop of the green flag in the 50-lap, double points event. Tunney didn’t seem to get up to speed quick enough on the start and the field began to stack up behind him. The end result was Kyle Harvell as the race leader and a caution for debris on the first lap. Adam Cox ran second to the leader, followed by Craig Lutz, Travis Fisher and Francis Gross III.

Expired Engine Leads to 8th Place Finish for Travis Fisher at Shang II
(June 12, 2011)- The ASA Latemodels are the headline division at the track, and saw Joseph Burns and 2009 track champion, Jim Lamoreaux collect the heat wins. During the re-draw, Lamoreaux drew the pole position for the feature. Lamoreaux brought out a brand new car that he and the crew built from the ground up. He is sporting the Impala body this season, moving away from the Camaro body he ran last season. Lamoreaux led all 30 laps in the two flag race. A serious challenge came from 2010 track champion, Travis Fisher. Fisher started third, and closed to within two carlengths until his power plant expired just past the halfway point. Read More
 
Travis Fisher Drives to Third Place finish at Mountain
 (5/1/11)- Sunday was an emotional day for the family, friends and competitors of former Mountain Speedway Factory Stock champion, Mike Moyer, Jr. Moyer lost his life in March and many gathered together to host the 1st Annual Mike Moyer, Jr. Factory Stock Memorial at the speedway. In typical Factory Stock fashion, doors and fenders were rubbed and hot tempers filled the sir for some, but when it was all said and done, Matt Schlenker of Walnutport somehow pulled out the victory. Rusty Smith of Oxford, NY scored his second straight Sport Modified main event victory and Zane Zeiner of Bath notched a win in the Late Model feature. Scott Hubler of Coplay fended off the competition for his first INEX Legends victory of the season and Austin Fehr of Macungee drove his TQ Midget to victory at the speedway. Read More
 
Larry Turns Travis' Misfortune Into a Victory at Mountain Speedway
(4/10/11)- Following Saturday’s time trials, both fans and drivers alike poured in to Mountain Speedway for the “B Program” Opening Weekend features. When it was all said and done, Rusty Smith of Oxford, NY cruised to the Sport Modified victory and Larry Fisher of Fern Glen, PA took his ill handling Late Model to victory lane. Matt Schlenker of Walnutport backed into the Factory Stock victory and Mike Alcaro of Newton, NJ brought home the first INEX Legends feature win of the season.
  After running the quickest qualifying time on Saturday, Travis Fisher started from the pole position in the 30-lap Late Model feature. He led the first circuit over Mike Sweeney, Larry Fisher, Craig Lutz and Kyle Harvell. Read More
